Dreaming Goals?

I've been trying so hard just to dream about my spirit guide, its almost driving me crazy. I can normally dream about whatever I want but she's being very stubborn lately. Grr. Does anyone else have any dreaming goals?

are there ways to stop dreaming about certain things? i keep having dreams where i'm climbing the spiral stairs of a lighthouse but the stairs never end. i'm not sure what it's supposed to mean, if anything, but it's starting to but me

Unfortunately, I've never had any reoccurring dreams. It' actually kinda weird that I haven't. So, I don't think there is anyway to stop it. Normally reoccurring dreams are caused by a problem lurking in your waking life. Climbing up the staircase symbolizes that your in a high point in your life, or that your taking the right steps to attain a certain goal, but you haven't reached it yet. In a way it's a good dream to have. All you need to do is to solve this problem or goal you haven't accomplished yet.

that is significantly less ominous than what i'd been imagining. are lighthouses specifically symbolic of anything? i was thinking it might be sort of like enlightenment of some kind

The lighthouse symbolically represents that you are seeking guidance during difficult times, but since your climbing up it, you haven't quite made it.

have you tried using triggers in your waking life to stimulate the appearance of your spirit guide at night? that might help you out

I have used every type of trigger possible that I could find. I write on a dry erase board by my bed every night, I talk to friends about it, and practice visualization before going to bed.

It's almost like my spirit guide wants to remain hidden from me.

well, what about physical things? if she ever has like a specific item with her when you have seen her, maybe if you obtain a similar one it could trigger her presence
